In this article, we will see the latest modules update from the Good Lock application. There are several new module updates which are quite interesting newest features for us to see. There is an updated setting in Task Changer with new animations that are quite interesting like never before. Then there are also some new settings in Task Changer which are recently updated.
In the LockStar module there is also a position update for new shortcuts, then there is also the latest update in the Wonderland application. Okay, now let’s just see what are the interesting features in this Good Lock update.
How to Install Good Lock
The first feature is on the Home Up module. For those of you who want to try it, make sure you have installed Good Lock and updated Home Up module to the latest version.
For those of you who don’t understand how to install Good Lock and how to update Home Up module, you can check the previous article on how to install Good Lock. After successfully installing Good Lock and updating to the latest version, you can immediately try some of the newest features.
1. New Task Changer Animation and Layout Types
For the first feature that you can immediately enjoy in the latest update is in Home Up module. In this latest Home Up module, in Task Changer menu, there are two new types that you can activate.
For those of you who don’t know Task Changer module, which was previously separated in a separate module, now it’s joined in Home Up module. So now you will find two new Task Changer module in this Home Up.
Previously, for the latest Good Lock update for Android 11, you could only find these 3 menus. You can only find the List, Grid and Stack menus in the previous version.
In this latest update, there are now 2 new menus called Vertical List and there is also a new menu called Slim List.
To display the Vertical List, you can open several applications first to see how the Task Changer looks.
For the default Vertical List view, you will find a display like this. Then for the second display, the Slim List will appear small like this.
2. Circular List Effect on Task Changer
Then the newest feature in the Task Changer update in this latest Home Up module, you can activate a new menu called Circular List. By activating the Circular list, the Task Changer menu will appear more interesting like this because there is a slightly circular effect like this when you swipe in the Task Changer.
For this new Circular List layout type, you can immediately activate it in the previous Vertical List layout type and you can also activate this Circular List in Slim List layout type. So, the appearance will be a little rounded and not flat as before.
The Vertical List menu will also appear slightly rounded when you swipe on the Task Changer menu. If we compare it without the Circular List, the appearance will be flat like this. So does for Slim List menu. And if we activate it, there will be a rounded effect which is quite interesting.
3. Mini Mode Option on Task Changer
Then the third new feature in the Home Up application update in Task Changer module is Mini Mode. For the Mini Mode feature, you can activate it on the Layout List, Grid and Stack.
For the previous List display, it will look like this and if you activate Mini Mode, the display will appear small like this. And this function can make you more easily reach it when you use your smartphone one hand.
The looks of Grid display without activating the Mini Mode, it will look like this and if we activate the Mini Mode for the Grid layout, it will look small like this.
And for the Stack layout view without activating Mini Mode, it will appear like this. And for the active Mini Mode it will appear small like this.
You can use this Mini Mode feature if you often use your smartphone with one hand so that the Task Changer can be more easily reached.
4. Option to Activate Recommended Apps on Task Changer
Then the fourth newest feature, you can also activate or deactivate Recommended apps in this latest Home Up module. In the Task Changer option in the Home Up module, you can also activate Recommended apps which will appear at the bottom of the Task Changer.
And if you want to get rid of the Recommended apps icon at the bottom, you can disable the Recommended apps feature. So, the display will not be filled by the icon at the bottom.
5. Show Search Bar on Task Changer
Then the fifth new feature, you can also activate the Search bar or deactivate the Search bar. To activate the Search bar, you just have to activate the Search bar box at the top of the Recommended apps and the Search bar will appear at the top of the Task Changer.
And if you don’t want to activate this search bar, you just have to deactivate it in this setting. So, for a cleaner look, you can disable the Search bar or Recommended apps. And you can also activate it whenever you need.
6. Shortcut to Open App on Split Screen View
Then, the sixth feature in the latest Good Lock update s a shortcut to Split screen view. To open Split screen view, you can immediately tap the icon at the bottom left of it. And the application that you are currently open will immediately appear at the top of the Split screen view and you can immediately open the second application at the bottom.
For the Split screen view icon, it will be there by default and there is no setting to remove it in the previous Task Changer module. For the other settings in the section below, they already exist in the previous version and for you who don’t know their function, you can check the previous article about the latest Task changer update.
7. New Options for Multiple Shortcuts on Lockscreen
Then the seventh new feature is in the LockStar module. To try it, of course, you have to first update the LockStar module to the latest version. When you successfully update to the latest version, you can immediately enjoy the latest update features on this Lock Star.
The new feature is that you can activate shortcuts on the Lock screen in several different positions. Previously, you could only display the Lock screen shortcut in a row at the bottom to the left. Whereas now you can choose several different positions like this.
You can position it on the right to the top like this or on the left to the top or to the side. To set it, we can go directly to the LockStar application, then select Edit Portrait Lock screen and here select the “Items” that located at the bottom right.
Here you can select the shortcuts. Here there are several positions for the icon, there is something like this, we save it first and we’ll see its position will be on the right side and the icon will open to the left.
Then for the second position, the direction will open upwards. So, the icon will open upwards and of course this icon will be easier for you to access it when using the smartphone with one hand. And this position is certainly better to choose if you use the smartphone with your right hand and you access it with one hand.
However, if you use the smartphone with your left hand, you can activate the third shortcut. For multiple shortcut layout types, the three positions will be on the left and it will open to the right. So, when you press multiple icons, the selected icons will open to the right.
Then the fourth-choice icons will open upwards like the one on the right earlier. It’s just that the icon is on the left. So, there are four additions to the latest multiple icons in this LockStar update. For those of you who are just setting up for the first time, you have to first select the icons. To select the icon, when you select the multiple shortcuts, just tap on this icon and then you have to select any application icon that you want to display on the Lock screen.
There are six application icons that you can choose from in this module. When selecting the application, all you have to do is click Apply and the application icons will appear on the Lock screen. After successfully selecting the icon and setting multiple shortcuts, you can immediately save the LockStar application.
8. New Default Theme on Wonderland Application
Then the eighth new feature is in the Wonderland module update. In the latest update to the Wonderland module, you can get two new themes. There are new Spring and Summer themes that you can activate right away.
The new Spring theme will look like this when you activate it, there will be an animation that moves like this on your homescreen.
Then there is also the Summer option which you can also activate immediately in the latest Wonderland module update.
