Hello everyone, in this article we will see four fast ways to lock the screen on Samsung smartphone in various series. You can apply these quick lock screen tips in the latest One UI 2.0, 2.1, 2.5, and 3.0. Okay, now let’s discuss one by one how to lock the fast screen on this Samsung smartphone.
1. One Hand Operation+ (Long Swipe)
For the first method, you can use the One Hand Operation+ application. This One Hand Operation + application is an application that is a module in the Good Lock application. Luckily, you can download this application separately on the Galaxy Store and on the Google Play Store. If you don’t find it on the Google Play Store, you can try searching on the Galaxy Store because there are some series for which the application is not available on the Google Play Store, but you can find it on the Galaxy Store. After installing the application, you can immediately activate this application for two ways of fast screen lock.
For the first method, you can activate One Hand Operation+ to lock the screen by swiping and long holding on the side of the screen. After installing the One Hand Operation+ application, you can immediately open the application, then you can immediately activate the application at the top of this. Then, here you can immediately set to lock the layer on the right or left side of the screen. For how to lock the first quick screen, we select the long swipe then look at the Straight left section and tap on this section. Then, here we select this Screen off. So, now you can immediately lock the screen by swipe and hold like this. And to activate the screen, you can activate by double tap as usual. So, you can immediately swipe and lock the screen faster.
You can also activate the left one so that it locks the screen for the Left handle. You can immediately set it here then select long swipe and Straight right and we can immediately select Screen off. For a long swipe, of course it is different from a short swipe because if it is a short swipe it will return to the previous menu. As for the long swipe, you can immediately lock the birth like this.
2. One Hand Operation + (Quick Tools)
Then the second way, you can also activate Quick tools with this One Hand Operation+. If you want to bring up other shortcuts when you swipe and hold like this, you can also choose in the settings section earlier. For example, we select Right handle, then Straight left we search and select the Quick tool at the bottom. In this Quick tool, there are several settings that you can add shortcuts to. There are various settings here that you can immediately access with one hand. So, when you swipe and hold like before, menus like this will appear. So, you can add the menus that you want to access quickly on the right side.
And if you want to lock the screen quickly, you can choose this Lock screen. So, you can still lock the screen quickly and access other shortcut menus. For the Quick tools section, you can only add up to 12 shortcuts here. So, you cannot add more shortcuts if you have already added 12 shortcuts in this section. If you want to add another shortcut, you must delete the shortcut first and press Add at the bottom. In this shortcut section there are various options that you can choose from and you can only select up to 12 shortcuts. Later, a shortcut will immediately appear on the right like this. For the set on the left is also the same as before, all you have to do is select the Quick tools and you can immediately access it like the previous method on the right.
How to Remove or Change Handle Display Color in One Hand Operation+
When you activate One Hand Operation+ and a handle appears at the edge of the screen like this, you can also increase the transparency so that this handle disappears and doesn’t appear at all. You can increase the transparency to 100% so it shouldn’t appear like this again. You just have to enter the settings then select the handle color at the bottom, then for transparency it is at the bottom below.
So, for this handle you can also set the color, for example, if you want it to look a little like this, it will appear greenish like this according to the color you choose. So, if you don’t want the handle to appear, you can immediately set the transparency to the far left and select Done. So, the handle won’t appear at all.
3. NavStar Application on Good Lock
Then for the third quick way to lock the screen on a Samsung cellphone, you can activate the NavStar module. For the NavStar module today you have to install Good Lock first and you install the NavStar module in it. So, your cellphone must support Good Lock for this third tips. To use NavStar, of course, we have to set the navigation bar to Button like the previous version. So, a Button will appear at the bottom. Then we open the NavStar module, we click Allow and we immediately set it for NavStar at the top. Then here we select the New configuration and at the bottom we select the cancel Button layout and we select the Add button. Then, here we can immediately install the Screen off shortcut in the navigation bar. You can move the position according to your preferences.
For example, we put the position in this section, then we select Done, and we save. And then the configuration that we have made is at the very bottom. We just need to activate it and then the navigation bar will immediately activate like this. So, it will look like this and you can immediately tap on the icon in the navigation bar, and the screen will immediately turn off as usual. Then the icon will appear like this.
Unfortunately, the latest One UI 3.0 can’t use this feature anymore. Maybe later it will be possible again after getting the latest update for the NavStar module. So, for this preview we will try it on the A51 which is still using One UI 2.5. After activating the navigation bar and icon earlier, now we can immediately lock the screen directly on the navigation bar. We can immediately press the button and immediately lock the screen quite easily.
4. Double Tap to Lock (One UI 3.0 Only)
Then, the fourth next tip is Double Tap to Lock which is only available on Android 11 with the latest One UI 3.0. So, in the latest version you can immediately activate Double Tap to Lock to lock the screen quite easily. So, for those of you who have just updated to the latest One UI 3.0 which is already based on Android 11, you can immediately activate this feature in the smartphone settings, then select the Advance features. In the Advanced features section, you choose Motions and gestures. Then here you just need to activate the Double tap to turn off this screen. So, for the latest updated version, you can immediately lock the screen faster than before.
